Aunt Fritzi: There have been GUYS hit-ting on ME every day, for years-- But NOT the KIND I'M looking for.
Man: What kind of guy are you looking for?
Aunt Fritzi: Someone who doesn't see an 8-YEAR-OLD as BAGGAGE--- But as a BLESSING-- For start-ers.

I have been reading this comic strip for years and I have never ONCE seen a guy hit on Fritzi (other than us, the readers). Saying that she gets hit on everyday doesn’t sound true.

Hey, don’t knock it, if they start drawing Fritzy at her real age, it would be a real shame.

I admit it. I have been hitting on Fritzi for many years. Amazingly, she still looks the same,but I’ve aged a liitle.

At work, there was a lady that was divorced.Attractive, she said that any time someone starting hitting on her that she wanted to get rid of, would just say that she had a disabled child at home.Worked every time.(But unfortunately, if it was someone she would like to know better, she had to give the same answer)

@Guy Gilchrist re Yesterday’s response:
I seem to keep running a day behind here…Thanks again for the insight and congrats on your upcoming nuptials.May 23 will be my 15th anniversary with my wife.
We had an interesting wedding day, I was having chest pains in the morning and off to the ER, heart was fine, turned out I had gall stones. Went home for wedding, in lieu of honeymoon I had my GB taken out a month later. Our wedding was delayed a couple hours and we moved the wedding to our apartment. Then just when we were about to step out for the ceremony, my bride-to-be’s 1 year old grandson fell out the bay window, not hurt, a little shaken. I have a whole story for that day, but you can get the gist.
I could almost write a whole two weeks of comic strips on it, maybe some day I will, I have sent the whole story out in emails from time to time on our anniversary.
Here’s a toast to you and Theresa, and hoping your wedding day goes much smoother, even if mine did provide a very funny story I love to share. Our marriage is much smoother than our wedding, and I wish that for you.

Today is only just the 12th day of Christmas, no reason that decorations can’t still be up.

An interesting perspective. I don’t get involved with women with children, mostly for the same reasons you have. Also, I know that I will never be a priority to the woman. It may appear selfish but it is true. This isn’t a Lifetime movie.

Fritzi doesn’t age. Nancy doesn’t age. Tell you what, if I won’t age also it will be a deal.

I have one of my own, along with a 7 year old and a 15 year old.
Psalms 27:3-5
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
