Tall bearded man: So, PHIL...When we met SLUGGO, we asked MISS FRITZI if we could help---Just like you wanted to help and asked us! Bein' on the road, we wouldn't be APPROVED to ADOPT hiM! But, ROLLO got us a LOAN so we could BUY the OLD HOUSE! We took over all the bills! Now he's guar-anteed a home! Short bearded man: We only make MONEY when we're on the ROAD, and we're PAY-IN' on the old PLACE, so we DON'T SEE SLUGGO as much as we wish! Tall bearded man: But WHEN we do...It's TREASURE, man! Ya know? Short bearded man: Those SMILES are worth all the MILES!
When I read, I imagine Sluggo’s voice as being juuuuust slightly south of Froggy’s voice (from Little Rascals), but not quite…. a lot less raspy, but still just a little reminiscent of that.
