Absolutely starting NEXT year, not one moment sooner

In ‘Nancy: The. Musical,’ upon realizing Mildred will not be sitting next to him in 2024, Sluggo sings the following melody,

“Goodbye Mildred, it’s been nice.

Hope you find your paradise.

Couldn’t see my point of view,

Hope your dreams will all come true.

Goodbye Mildred, I refrain.

Will we ever meet again?

Feel no sorrow, feel no shame,

Come tomorrow, feel no pain."

Joke’s on her. Next year, she’ll be sitting next to Pee-Wee.

Nice reflection there, Mildred.

Can you imagine the original Sluggo saying stuff like that? OJ’s done a good braining job with him. : )

Yet more evidence that Sluggo may be the only kid in this strip who isn’t a self-absorbed jerk.

I wish OJ would do that. Put Sluggo in the real Nancy along with Nancy and give Mildred her own strip.

My answer to the self improvement question is an emphatic profane negative involving something you can’t do with an abstract concept.

Oh Mildred. I’m sure that the more the years pass, the happier she’ll be to be next to Sluggo. In the library, in the park, at home…
