My cousin Ronnie had a Jerry Lewis comic book in the 1960s. I only got around to reading the first page, in which he was in a diving suit under the sea trying to sell salt water taffy to the fish, but they only wanted fresh water taffy. In the 70s there was a cartoon show, “Will the Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down?” In which he worked for an employment agency doing odd jobs and interacted with a variety of relatives straight out of his multirole film The Family Jewels.

And with all the plastic surgery, some of them actually look like cartoon characters!

Just now recalled a Woody Allen comic strip in the 1970s.
