I also remember a church we attended where the women had “Secret Sisters” who would sporadically buy little gifts for one another. We guys suggested the men have a “Blessed Brothers” program. No one would exchange names; we just sporadically buy ourselves ‘manly’ things and exclaim, “Look what I got from my Blessed Brother!”
One of the first signs of adulthood: When your kid gets you a birthday present that you want, not what they want. All my sibs got there eventually… except the bachelor.
