We’re safe now—for some values of “safe.”

Safe = not lunch. I knew King Kong (or at least a relative) would come to the rescue (or at least complicate the plot).

Do you think they’ll be taken to Dr. Zera for observation?

I’m impressed that primates that size can be supported by vines. Those must be some dang hefty plant life!

Actually, Planet of the Apes was rated G, in the early days of the ratings system when G-rated movies were not necessarily children’s movies.

My wife has been bugging me to get back to the romance storyline with Joe and Victoria. Maybe it’s time for that. But it’ll have to wait at least until September.

Hey Wiley, you said yesterday that none of us had guessed the outcome and to stay tooned—- I beg to differ…. my comment yesterday was:

either a soft landing, an in flight rescue or a suspension of gravity…..

I forgive your oversight, now send me something cool

Your guess was way too general. You didn’t say HOW they’d land.

dracip. i agree, let this play out at a ‘natural’ pace. vexatron, if you don;t think the vines could be tough enough, try breaking OFF a green branch from a tree sometime. even the smaller ones take far more effort than you might think. (not that i’m advocating the breaking of trees, it’s just an example.)

It’s time for another salsa, bean, and cheese Dorito belch again, or if that doesn’t work something from the other end.

Hey, don’t I win something for my guess yesterday?…..

”I bet those little “bubbly” things following their fall are a meaningful clue….suggesting their suspended in, um….a liquid of sorts?”

That was just my simple way of saying Lars, an anti-gravity bubble, and two apes swinging from vines.
