Richard, don’t forget Charlie Chaplin and the window in the building facade that fell around him…Wiley didn’t include the fifth panel. But it was the dude, with a stunned look on his face, as the thing falls towards him…..and he’s saying………………..Wait for it…………. O O…..
This is my first visit to Non Sequitur. I’m very pleased to see everything shown is not being interpreted as a political statement. Calvin and Hobbes is a fiasco of nut jobs. I’ll be visiting here more often. Very relaxing.
sonnygreen, welcome, and thanks for noticing….Quite a few witty people hang out here, I must say….Most of us refrain from going political when it isn’t called for. And we don’t feed the trolls… now, on the days when Wiley does a political cartoon you might want to keep you’re head down…….
These commenters are pretty nice and cerebral today. In case anyone read today’s Mother Goose and Grimm and didn’t understand it, I found this after some effort:http://www.grimmy.com/comics.php(Its #4 commenter gives the url for the clue.)
Thousands of years from now, scientists are going to wonder who the mysterious people were that built donuts on the side of hills…ancient donut worshippers, no doubt…wait, that could a metaphor for us.
mightaswellbe: Knew they were working on something down there will go to the site. The collection of “mementos” left at the wall in D.C. has led to another interesting museum. A friend took my daughter through to look at the items, very “interesting” for her. At some point things will be on public display.

Sooooooo….evidently it was Buster Keaton….too bad that wasn’t clarified earlier……Sorry, my snarky attitude comes on duty nightly at 10:30 EST.

I’m sure you also remember Buster Keaton?
kevindix over 12 years ago
Funny, I thought it was Buster Keaton who did the bit with the building facade falling. Maybe all the silent stars stole it from each other.
