It’s the Greatest Show on Earth!

It’s “mid terms” year, and the idiots are still focused on nearly three years away. BAN campaigning, or FUND RAISING until the a month before primaries, in the LAST state holding them in the year of the election!

EVERY YEAR IS ELECTION YEAR! WE CAN’T EVER CATCH A BREAK FROM POLITICS!!!

“No corruption in that area.”.It might seem that way.

The only good politician is a dead politician, dont believe me huh? Ask any politician what he thinks of one of them who just passed away and they invariably say “What a great person he/she was” no matter what they said about him/her beforehand. Ergo, the only good politician is a dead politician.

The political system has created the rampant apathy. Voters know that win or lose the lawyers get rich. And the politicians are all lawyers (save a few).

Actually, I always laugh when someone wishes me a happy New Year.

No more Homer? Got bored with it or just never had the whole story figured out…Or, that ‘thunk’ on the head brought him to the pearly gates…..

I thought 2016 was the election year! The prez one, anyway,….

Campaign finance reform (make it public), serious limitations on lobbying, and giving air time (and credence) to ALL the other choices out there would be nice…

Sad but true that some people equate politics with life.

“If you can’t say anything nice…don’t say anything at all!” This is how my mother said we should behave as children… Hell, I can’t think of anything nice to say about anybody in politics.

Oh, I thought that was the weather report at first…..75% chance of flying saucers with death rays in the AM, Mostly toxic waste later in the evening…..

Like Diogenes searching for an honest man. the light is cast in vain. Where ever the light shines, it does not find beauty or truth. It finds something to dazzle and distract the new holder of the light with alluring images and mesmerizing light patterns of light that comfort but do not strengthen nor give substance to the soul.

Obama supporters are the worst, in short he spent his first term blaming the previous admin ,while re writing his version of our history, to make sure he is remembered as “the good guy”, trouble is only those who were here before he came on to the scene will remember what America looked like before his time.

Right or wrong ,as long as I draw breath I will never vote Dem ,starting with Carter they have been nothing but trouble.

I’m old enough to remember when the parties actually took time off from the b.s.ing to work together and get things done between elections. (Yes this really did happen!)Who can tell when it’s an election year anymore? The right-wing haters never pause to catch their breaths, blaming Obama for everything from the Target hacking to burned toast.

Also, no pensions for anyone in elective office. They should pay Social Security [FICA] tax out of their pay, which would be set by the voters.

Once upon a time we used to be offered a coiceof evils, of which one could be seen as thelesser. This has not been true for the last sixtyyears: all the “choices” we are offered are asbad as each other. There is no longer a “lesser” evil on offer.

See my earlier reply to ldmff. There is no longera “lesser” evil offered us. Everyone is as bad asevery other one.
