Me too, but I wouldn’t do it now. Pathogenic E. coli infections, Listeriosis or Salmonellosis are no fun. And there are plenty more bugs than that.
It’s true that people survived centuries of unpasteurized milk, but large numbers also died from milk borne tuberculosis and brucellosis. Some TB is of human origin and some is bovine origin. For example, Jane Austin is thought to have died from bovine TB. Jane died in 1817. Louis Pasteur was born in 1822. Timing is everything.
