Looks more like a pig or boar in the background there…and what the heck Claire?! Nothing like asking how they get their milk so fresh when there is a (supposed) cow right outside the window :P
lol! My mom loved fresh milk straight from the cow (said it was tasty and warm). She was raised in a farm growing up. Me? Nothing like store bought milk warmed up in the microwave to put me to sleep! ;)
Me too, but I wouldn’t do it now. Pathogenic E. coli infections, Listeriosis or Salmonellosis are no fun. And there are plenty more bugs than that.
It’s true that people survived centuries of unpasteurized milk, but large numbers also died from milk borne tuberculosis and brucellosis. Some TB is of human origin and some is bovine origin. For example, Jane Austin is thought to have died from bovine TB. Jane died in 1817. Louis Pasteur was born in 1822. Timing is everything.

Hmm. I knew it was something like coming fresh from the cow. Claire must be a little rural ignorant.
