You’re right. My Heroes are my brother who was a marine during WW11. My next door neighbor who has devoted his life to taking care o his ill parents. A fellow I worked with who adopted a baby turned out to have a depilating illness, but in the ten years I worked with him he never complained once and always had time to tend to her needs. Those are real heroes. Not sports millionaires or movie stars and political figures. These are deeply flawed people and don’t deserve hero status..
