Does anybody remember Twinkles the breakfast cereal? (I’m sure grandpa does.) Its commercials featured an elephant named Twinkles who could do all sorts of tricks with his trunk…
“Twinkles the Neurotic Pachyderm” has got one of the most awesome titles I have ever seen, especially for a children’s book (although it might also work well for a book on politics). I hope someone writes it soon!

Was it actually ever a cereal or other product? I rether doubt, but I’m inclined to be too credulous.

In today’s strip, Ruthie discusses the words that cause a smile (not just cheese) and Carson P came up with my new fav – “sequins”. LOL!
