Certainly one problem with “playing house” with two totally different family dynamics. Also a good reason to date for a while and go through the engagement process before getting married so you can see some of these “flaws” or “issues” before you’re legally bound. :-s

I made the mistake of marrying that kind of idiot. I was fortunate to leave after the first time he became physically abusive. I was not going to stick around for more of the same. I divorced him afterwards.

Ruthie good for you. Not sure if James learned a lesson on how to talk with girls.I’m married for 31+ years and my hubby would never talk to me that way nor I him.

I contend that fewer wives would have trouble with the Scriptural injunction “be submissive to your husbands” if more husbands would “love [your] wives even as Christ loved the church and handed himself over for her.”

LOL…….Hope Opal doesn’t see this, might give her an idea…
