    When I talk to my friends who are from Canada, after I’ve said whatever it was, I say to them, Let me reword this in a language you understand" and I repeat the whole thing but add “eh” at the end.

    i’m an american, and i lived for 2 years in newfoundland, a beautiful canadian province. yes, canadians often say “eh” at the end of sentences. i always thought that was so cute.

    I read Little Women at about age 6 or 7. There was a lot of French from the girls that I didn’t understand at the time either.I guess it can be French Canadian too.
