There was a man who lived on the 12th floor of an apartment building. Every morning he would take the elevator down to go to work. If it was raining, or if there was someone in the elevator with him when he came home, he would take the elevator all the way to the 12th floor. But if the weather was good, and he was alone in the elevator, he would go up to the 7th floor and take the stairs the rest of the way up. Why?
That’s one heavy-duty umbrella if she can walk on it like a plank. Any I’ve ever owned are just thin metal and wouldn’t hold the weight of even a small child.

Umbrellas have so many uses.

He couldn’t reach the elevator buttons above the 7th floor so he depended on a tall neighbor or used his umbrella to hit the button.

At least she didn’t use it as a parachute.
