Cats learn very quickly, how to move without causing the bell to jingle.

We are a family that wants Scratch scratched from the strip. Time for Henry and Charlie to go to town and meet some babes. Used to see that.

Sorry Scratch, but Henry just wasn’t going to give you spurs that go jingle jangle. (And don’t jump yourself right into becoming shark bait.)

If the feeder were a little closer to the side of the ship Scratch would be taking a swim each time he jumped for the feeder.

Why does this strip attract cat haters?! And why are there songbirds over the ocean? Nope.

In London, during the plague, they killed all the cats thinking they were the carriers of the plague. Then they were completely inundated with rats, who were the actual carriers of plague. Cats keep barns free of mice. And my house.

Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way! Our cat was belled and still caught birds. At least we tried. Cats just are good at what they do. Part of nature.

OMG! CHIP DON’T YOU CHANGE ANYTHING! I have been reading Overboard probably longer than any of you here. Overboard brought me to this sight in the first place back in 2006. I discovered Overboard in our Sunday paper, you know, PRINTED NEWSPAPERS? But I only saw it weekly discovered it was online and came here. It’s all in FUN folks! The mice, Scratch, and so on. If you can’t find the humor, well maybe you should move on?
