When I was very little, Mom found me one night wedged into the space between the corner of the wall and the side of a dresser, right next to the heater vent in the wall.
I tended to sleep migrate back then. They found me halfway up a climbing plant in a pot one night when we were sleeping over at a relative’s. Must have been a great dream.
When the furnace fan would kick on we’d say “Chloe heats on” and Chloe the Basset hound would get up and amble over the the heat duct and plop down blocking it totally.

My cocker spaniel Buford used to stretch out over the vent when the A/C was on. I think he was trying to keep his “junk” cool.
