Device addiction is an issue everywhere now!

I got married twice—once to my wife and once to my phone. :-)

Is these comics strips becoming addictions to us all also?

This Overboard strip IS an addiction. We are grateful for it every morning.

OH how I LOVE this strip!!!!!

There really is a serious point behind this. We talk about being “mindful” in how we live our lives, and yet we mindlessly throw our lives away for…what? Distraction. To be distracted. That’s all it is. This is a perfect illustration of how really dangerous — short term and long term — that is. Louie has the knack of thinking beyond himself, looking out for others, and we love him for it. People who live their lives in their phones live for themselves, insulating themselves from other people and from reality.

Ah, Louie … always looking out for others.
