We were at the park one day when the butterflies were migrating. My lab watched and them laid down in the swarm. He never tried to bite and I guess instinctively the butterflies knew he was not a threat. It was awesome watching them land on Frankie. I swear labs can smile!! :)
I’m sure the butterflies are still there in spirit, Louie.
And for the record: I’m pretty sure butterflies were originally called flutter-byes. Somehow over the years, the FL and B sounds reversed, to form the word butterflies.
