What does Henry care when true winter really starts since they sailed south to some tropical isle over a week ago? Don’t tell me they were dumb enough to sail back into the true frozen north before the winter started!
Two questions: why is the door open and why a king size bed? I thought there was a lockable door to the captain’s quarters and a single bed with drawers beneath.
I have a lab mix that goes gets on my bed after our night walk. She stays there until I get under the covers and give he an ear rub. Then she gets down and gets on one of her several beds. I adopted through a program where shelters send dogs to a state prison where they get basic obedience training from inmate trainers. So I think her actions go back to the prison bed not being big enough for the inmate and her.
Our mob consists of 5 cats and 3 dogs. Sometimes the humans spend all night kicking furry ones off the bed, but they all have their own sleeping places.

Why don’t they just sail down to the Bahamas for the winter?

Oh, come on Captain Crow. Once a lab is on the bed, there is no getting it off of the bed. How could you kick him off the bed anyway?
