Wow, I never knew shark fisher"men" were so industrious. Well sharks gotta eat too and there’s no better way to catch fish than to cast nets. But what puzzles me is how the sharks built the fishing trawlers that float above the water? I thought sharks can’t breath air outside of the water?
All for capturing a fish that urinates through the very meat you eat. On the plus side the people that predominately eat shark are filling their bodies with mercury, since the shark is the apex predator, thus eventually making themselves impotent. When science meets “the importance of culture” science always wins.
This used to be a fun site to visit, Now it’s become tedious. Time to take an extended break until “the Overboard funnies” start being funny again. Thank heavens for GoComics’ archives. I can go back to when Overboard was worth reading. See y’all later. I’ll miss you.
I have questions. How is Nate carrying that knife? The traditional pirate way is “hold in the teeth” but that is way too low to be in his jaws. It looks like it’s just tucked in under the edge of his beard, which yes is lush and luxurious, but thick/heavy enough to hold a knife? And he’s obviously shirtless – note the navel, curve of his pecs, and nipples – so why has his skin been colored orange, as if he were wearing his usual shirt?
