A small boy is playing at the edge of the surf when a large wave slams down on the shore. When it recedes, the boy is gone! His mother, distraught and wailing, prays and begs desperately for her boy. A second wave, bigger than the first, crashes onto the shore, and when it withdraws, the boy is back! His mother rushes to him, cradling him in her arms, thanking the heavens for his safe return — and then takes a good look at him.
