BTW, when I was a kid, scifi was a minor and generally disdained corner of the world of literature. Now thanks to movies and TV, creations such as Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, and 2001: A Space Odyssey are now more a part of our cultural heritage than Beowulf or the original Odyssey.
