verne: I call my library the transporter.... verne: Open any book, and find yourself beamed anywhere in the universe. rj: "Everybody poops" RJ: Beam me back, scotty. hammy: I poop!
With over 1,300 books (just moved and counted my library), I agree with Verne, and no knowledge from a book is irrelevant. Sad thing that so many people hardly know what a book is anymore, and that’s even including “ebooks”. And the trips aren’t just in the universe, but the many others as well.
^^ecboston: also have a Kindle with keypad, as touch screens go nuts when I touch them, but it IS incredible to have so many additions to my library in such a small device, and the KIndle is very easy to read. (Backlit screens are hard on the eyes.)

I’ll be honest, a real book may be more nostalgic ta some, but an e-book can’t wear down from use.
