Stepping on one Starbucks would hardly make a difference. They tend to pop up like mushrooms after it rains.

There are a number of ways of hypnotizing people, besides using a pocket watch, like all the movies do. One way is to use a blinking light, and the most effective rate is to have the light blink every three seconds. If you watch an action movie, you’ll see that the scene changes just about every three seconds. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

I hate how they just hammer in special effects in movies and ignore the story.

Saw a classic old action film in the park a couple of summers ago. Great movie from back in the day, famous car chase scene – Bullitt, with Steve McQueen. We were all eager to see it. It was SO SLOW!! Yes, it was still good, but wow…. what a difference.

I’m a sucker for long shots. They do more to make me feel present.
