    That is almost a thing we do, but usually we just use cooling vests that mascots tend to use.

    When I ran the Marine Corps Marathon back in the late ’90s, there was a guy who ran the entire marathon dressed in a Kermit the Frog costume. When they published the race results, he was listed as “Kermit T. Frog”.

    I would like a cooling vest just in normal life. I like to dress up in costume for sic-fi conventions, but can only stay in them for a very short period of time unless the hotels are really well air conditioned.
