No, anybody wanting to run for office has to determine whether they want the exposure/scrutiny from the media and social networks of their personal lives . So we are doomed by having selections at voting booth of people too stupid to care about that and others well being , egotists & BS artists looking for a platform to get attention , people who look at politics as a means to have control over others , some who believe that lobbyists will make them rich (after watching most politicians rake in bucks one way or another), people who got tired of being internet nobodies , etc etc etc………….meaning we get selections of wrong people for all the wrong reasons …so what can possibly go positive direction ( yes, I’m avoiding the word “right” ) .
