The first tractor pull event I went to was in Sandwich, Illinois. It started with lawn tractors pulling a small sled, then moving up to V8s in pickup trucks, multiple V8s on a farm tractor, jet powered tractors, then big turbo diesel powered large farm tractors with black smoke billowing from the stack.

This is about when I get my lawn mower out – to mulch oak leaves.

Oh we laugh, but up here in NW Wisconsin, they have garden tractor pulls and some don’t look too far off from the drawing.

The last two times I mowed the yard at work,….. I did it in my “King Shark” costume. (I don’t have a sombrero).

The shop is on a busy state road, I was a little concerned that I might cause a few accidents.

No accidents, but I did notice several people pulled onto the shoulder to get video of me.
