In my experience, dogs eat what you give them far too quickly to notice much of anything. And then come looking for more. Which I limit providing them, lest they become, ahem, too well-rounded.

My dog eats very well.

for those who feed their dogs a raw diet, it seems that they put more thought into what their animals eat than what they themselves eat.
