My former step kids used to watch a lot of “reality TV” back when it was defined by MTV series like “Road Rules”, which involved stuffing a lot of young adults into an RV and traveling the open road together. It all seemed to involve placing a lot of attractive but emotional people together in a small setting to maximize the drama. the main difference was that the conflicts were often about small things that few writers would imagine using in a TV script.
Any attempt to make a series of my “real” life would end with the discovery that 50 something bachelors lead very dull lives, and we’re ok with that.
