I wouldn’t doubt that he did that. I’m just wondering why someone who designed a mascot for a tire company was there to see it.
I can so see that happening to him.
This may be my second favorite Michelin story, second only to the t ime they acquired the automaker Citroen (because they couldn’t pay their tire bill) and had them build the 2CV in order to have a way to sell tires to peasent farmers.
Mentally scarred for life.
