* They had “book wrappers” for sale, but our family wasn’t up for spending a few extra cents to get a flashy wrapper when the bags were free.

Pencils were made in Missouri and the shaving smelled of fresh local cedar trees. They moved to Mexico and the shavings are no longer cedar scented.
