Strips such as this particular one, are just one of the reasons why “Peanuts” became the best selling comic strip of all time. Charles Schultz was the absolute master of telling truth with gentle humor!!
Being a “Good guy” is SO much more important than, and preferable to, being able to best anyone in a fight!
Mark Twain once had another boy in town say, “Well, Tom Sawyer, he licked me once.” (But it wasn’t Huck!)
Remember the old Timex commercials?.Who can forget John Cameron Swayze when he said, “It takes a licking and keeps on ticking.”
