oh, for the love of…!

Those were the days — splashing about in those inflatable backyard pools with my brothers!

Yup. Getting your own pool ensures having lots of “new friends”.

Here in Boston, dogs aren’t allowed in the Frog Pond.

When I was a kid, I had one of those paperback book collections of Peanuts comics. I remember this one from that book. It’s nice when one of those comics I remember from way back then pops up.

This reminds me of a M*A*S*H episode when Radar’s tonsils had to be taken out.

I see this strip was dated 8-31, a good day for a trip to the inflatable pool. Today, on the other hand, here in South Central Texas, the temps are in the upper 40’s, and a cold rain is falling. I won’t be jumping into Charlie Brown’s pool today.

The entire current cast in one panel! (By the way, I hate to brag……yeah, RIGHT! But I have like 40 of the old “Peanuts” paperbacks, plus a ton or two of other ones ranging from “Andy Capp” to “Ziggy”. Not in great shape, not “collector’s items” or anything, but I can re-read them anytime I want to go down to my basement and see which is in one pile…….)

Charlie Brown discovered a correlation! Maybe he can infer causality. Maybe the thermometer going up causes hot weather. Maybe if he could prevent the thermometer from going up, he can prevent hot weather.

Poor Charlie Brown, can’t ever catch a break. Kinda reminds me of Wiley Coyote trying to catch the road runner.

This is so strange. I was watching a Loud House episode today just like this. But hey, maybe you could have invited Charlie Brown in, it is his inflatable pool after all.
