Last week the Saturday strip appeared on Sunday, so someone is off by one day. So tomorrow we’ll probably see the Saturday strip. Or, since supposedly one day was missed earlier in the month, we’re now one day ahead of schedule. So what’s the problem. Some people make a big deal out of nothing.
We will see the Monday strip, like we did last Sunday. I know that, for most of us, this site is free, so I can’t complain much, but really, doesn’t anyone mind this strip — just check in occasionally, or is it left to run auto-pilot.
Our local radio station is now that way. Someone just loads the programming into the computer and goes home. No one is in the station, and sometimes, there may be an hour of dead air or double tracks or something, because apparently, the owners and managers don’t listen to the station.

This strip famously composed soon after Schulz attended the Road Runner Film Festival.

Here’s the text:
1.1 ?
1.2 Go Ahead, Jump
1.3 I’m scared
2.1 There’s nothing to be scared of Lucy
2.2 You’ve got that umbrella to help you
2.2 That’s true
2.3 Do you think I’ll bounce?
3. Instead of jumping I think I’ll close my eyes and just step off
4. ?
5. 1 I did it! I’m floating in the air! I’m floating in the air!!
5.2 !
6.1 I’m going to do that again..
6.2 Just think I was floating in the air!
7.1 You’d probably be better off if you quit right now
7.2 Are you crazy?! I’m a success! With this umbrella I can float in the air!!
8.1 This is getting out of hand. I think I’ll leave too…
8.2 Here I go again!
9. THUMP
10. I’m glad I didn’t see that.

I remember trying to do a Mary Poppins with an umbrella. Don’t try this at home—or anywhere else.

Whoever colored this strip did a very bad job and needs to make sure this never happens again.

According the ad in my margin, I can buy today’s beautiful strip, mounted on wood, for 200 dollars. Is that a deal or what?

Maybe they’ll include the black plate on the press the next time they print it.
