Went with my mom to Germany when I was 2 years old came back and couldn’t speak a word of English told my dad and grandma in perfect German that Opa, told me if the Sheps bothered me to punch him in the nose and kick him in the a$$ LOL both my grandma and dad said to my mom she speaks only English no more German! Sorry they did so as I loved the language.
A note of appreciation to Dr. Leo Berg, my German professor in college 43 years ago. One of my biggest regrets is only taking one year of German as a Senior, before graduating. I struggled with Spanish in high school, but loved German. Dr. Berg was a fine teacher and his courses were great.

No worse than how Pepé Le Pew murders French or Speedy Gonzales murders Spanish.

Perhaps tomorrow Charlie Brown will ask Schroeder about Ludwig Von Beethoven.

I worked with some German POWs in a cannery during WW II. Learned the important words.

I’m a little surprised that Charlie Brown apparently knows German definite articles. Wonder if his family name was originally “Braun”?

I wonder if Schroeder pronounces “Bach” correctly.
