somehow reminds of the “Calvin and Hobbes” strip where Calvin hides in the bathtub from his mother who’s looking for him saying it’s his bath time

I guess he’s afraid of drowning in the tub, which has often happened in real life.

I remember not wanting to get in the bath…and later not wanting to get out of it. It really is a matter of getting used to it.

I never could understand why little boys hate baths so much!

I don’t why comic kids hate baths so much. I loved baths. In fact, my mom would be getting frustrated because I’d dilly-dally so much. I’ll admit if I was outside playing, I’d be mad if I was called in for my bath, but I didn’t hate the bath myself. And I never really had much in the way of bath toys, either. I was jealous of my friend’s little sister who had a Tubtown Village. Hell, if I could get my hands on one of those today, I’d get it and play with it! And I’m almost 46 now!

You could wash your clothes at the same time, Charlie Brown.

This might’ve been funnier with Pigpen.
