These were probably colorized long after it was decided CB was bald. But those marks on his forehead and back of the head indicate light colored hair. If he was bald, the marks should no longer exist. If they can determine the line between blue sky and green grass, they should divide his flesh colored head with light blonde hair.

Though it is possible to “look well,” in this usage “look good” is more apt and is correct.
