Here it comes!

Need to gossip a little.

Gossip is the entertainment of small minds with little to occupy them. They don’t care if it’s true or false, it’s just a pastime.

If we stop thinking good thoughts about that monster, he’ll zap us into the cornfield.

Be careful whose back behind which you gossip. Those people may be gossiping about you behind yours.

Beware, you never know who you are talking to!

That ‘however’ will get you every time.

Thanksgiving was on November 22 in 1951. That strip ran here on October 29, 2024. It is interesting that Schulz made no allusion to the Holiday except, perhaps, in the November 21 strip, which ran here on October 28.

“If you don’t have anything nice to say, come sit by me.”

However, it’s more fun to talk this way.

And so it begins…

“However, ‘how I hate him!’”

Mr. Schultz certainly knew what little girls were like.

Why, really we’re just not the gossipy kind,

No, you’ll never hear one of us repeating gossip,

So you’d better be sure and listen close the first time! ♫
