That’s a crib, not a toddler bed. And yet as we saw recently Lucy can already jump rope.

I can’t wait until Sparky changes Lucy’s eyes. Creepy, they are.

Her L-3 will be feeling that, someday!

At least she picks up her toys. Very few kids do that.

The bars on her crib do not seem to be doing their job keeping her in. “They haven’t built a crib that can hold me, ya dirty rats. Myah.”

It’s interesting. Over on For Better or For Worse, we’ve been noticing how Lynn Johnston’s artwork became more detailed and complex as the strip went on.

For Peanuts, the artwork in these earlier strips was much more detailed than he ended up being later. Kind of the reverse.

I notice that especially in the Sunday strips; the old ones are packed with so much action and dialog that they look like Little Nemo in Slumberland sometimes. The later ones are practically minimalist in comparison :)

No toddler would go to bed by themselves! They need a story or three, maybe a song, some water, a hug and a good night kiss!
