Linus looks at a map and says, "It would take forever to get there . . ." Lucy says, "Not necessarily."<BR><BR> Lucy stands over Linus and says, "You're confused because you're looking at a map which is flat . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy gestures and says, "Come over here . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits on the floor reading a book. Lucy says to Linus, "Now let me have your crayon . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy makes a mark on Charlie Browns' head and says, "Texas would be right about here, along the thirtieth North parallel . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy continues, "Now to get to Singapore, you merely fly north over the top of the world . . . see?"<BR><BR> Linus says, "Oh, yes, now I see . . . Now I understand . . . That makes it a lot more clear . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown watches as Linus and Lucy walk away.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "Actually, you could go to any store and pick up a good world globe for about ten dollars."<BR><BR>
you know, 10 dollars was a lot for a kid to get in those times!! To kids, getting 10 dollars for allowance = nowadays, kids getting 100 dollars for allowance!!!!
