Is the “ten-year-old car”in question supposed to be Charlie Brown and/or Linus? First time I saw this strip, that’s what I had thought, that it was supposed to be some kind of “metaphor,” if CB was referring to himself and Linus.

A 10-year-old car isn’t that bad, it practically still got that new car smell. A car can be considered old when if it was a human it was allowed to drink or vote.

In 1983, I had an 11-year-old Volvo. Still ran great! Now I have a 15-year-old Honda. Looks and runs like new.
