Peppermint Patty leans against a tree reading a book. Snoopy sits on the other side of the tree. Patty says, 'Dogs are lucky. Dogs don't have to waste their summer reading 'Silas Marner'". Snoopy thinks, "I read a book about a cat once.."<BR><BR> Snoopy thinks, "I read it when I was going to obedience school.."<BR><BR> Patty says, "'Silas Marner' is on our 'required reading' list." Snoopy thinks, "So was the cat book."<BR><BR>
In the Second Grade, I read The Space Cat. Then The Space Cat goes to the Moon, The Space Cat Goes to Mars, and The Space Cat Has Kittens. One or two of these may have been Third Grade.
