Fight in World War II

I’ve read that many young WW1 pilots had trouble adapting to normal life afterward. They say they got so used to living on the edge that they were “addicted to danger.” That’s what the socio texts said, anyway.

You should never have got him drafted in the first place; Snoopy’s WW1 addiction can’t be cured anymore…And to think that he used to be a simple fun-loving dog once upon a time!

Reup. You’ll be a world-famous WWII flying general by WWII…

I always loved Snoopy’s expression in panel 1.

you could…could fight in world war 2,get deployed in Iraq,become a commander in the Army,join the navy, become the first dog to become president.

I’ll have you know that he DOES do this forever, at least in the eyes of the strip’s continuity (he never stops before the strip reached its end).

I would say he could turn his Sopwith into a jet and continue to fight.

I think most barnstormers were former WWI pilots who wanted to make a living flying.

We know Snoopy and Woodstock also flew choppers in ’Nam.
