I remember when woodburning sets were big. And bottle-cutters. You were supposed to be able to make all kinds of crafts with the bottle cutters. My sister was given a bottle-cutter and my brother got a woodburner. I suppose parents today would panic!
We used to have those molds with a heater, you filled the molds with coloured liquid, “cooked” them for a while and when they were cool they made little rubber/plastic figures. We had a set of Peanuts molds. It was really hard to keep the colours from running into each other. The idea was to make pins, hair bands etc.
