Sally Brown is the living embodiment of “pragmatism”.Pragmatic – “relating to matters of fact or practical affairs often to the exclusion of intellectual or artistic matters”. Who needs multiplication tables, book reports or calendars?
To make it easier for her, circle Christmas and put an X in each day that has passed. At the end of the day tell her to put another X. This way she can see the progress towards Christmas without needing to know “Feb”, “Aug” and “Mon”. :)

As I said yesterday, it’s sheer, bone-idle laziness. I would hate to see Sally as a teenager!
