Schroeder’s only true love is the amazing Beethoven.

I would truly love to see a version of Peanuts where they are grown – I don’t believe there is one, but would like to be corrected. Lucy and Schroeder are married and have three kids. Linus and Sally. What about CB and Peppermint Patty?

Lucy breaks my heart in these, and then gets me so angry in so many other strips. I love that about how Schulz built his characters. So many notes they can hit. (no pun intended!)

How about, “The Sun may rise and set, the seasons may come and go, the glaciers may advance and retreat, the stars may burn themselves out and the Cosmos may die a universal heat death, but you will NEVER receive a valentine from me.”

He does tolerate your being there. Isn’t that enough?…..
