LOL Perfect timing for that line.

Too bad they didn’t steal the waterbed

Quick, Snoopy! Claim the land in the name of the king!

At least he didn’t barf.

“Stop bouncing”. Sure, Marcie. Patty will just change how physics works.

I’ve not had a problem getting out of a waterbed. Beanbag chair or Adirondack chair is a different story,

Now get, while the getting’s good, Snoopy!

It’s hard to bounce on a waterbed.

I knew those two would wind up there finally.

I’ts ok. All they got was the tread mill.

Had several waterbeds back in the day. None were bouncy.

At least Snoopy got free.

I have to admit this story line has me laughing everyday.

Furniture thieves are easy to spot since they drive around in semi trucks

I bought my first waterbed 6 years after this strip appeared. I slept in it for the next 35 years. I had to patch it once – dumb cat got scared – and replace the actual mattress once. Got a great story about my mom-in-law and her friend when they slept in it while I and my wife were gone. A lot like Snoopy’s inability to get out of the bed.

Too bad this happened before AMErICA’S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS.

I love how Charles Schulz used repeated punchlines to such great effect. My favorites are “Stop calling me ‘Sir’” and (Linus to Sally), “Still having trouble with fractions, huh?”

I wonder how many times Schulz used the ‘stop calling me sir’ joke. It never gets old, either.

The view she has may explain why she calls you sir.
