Yeah, I guess it is kinda vauge. After all maybe she thought you were one of your siblings, Dinky. That note could have been meant for Blinky, Pinky, Inky, or Clyde. After all, you all look alike to her, especially when blue.

It’s jest natural, Dinky comes from a long line of ducks, in fact ducks run in his family . . . ☻

I’m told that mother ducks are like this. Apparently wildlife rescue services always release rescued ducklings first because if they release Mom first she will just fly away and leave the kids.
