Drumpf is keeping us in the dark over Kremlingate, as this scandal is known, not to mention his tax returns. (What does he have to hide? More deals with the Neo-Soviet Russians, perhaps?) So, Larry, I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but the media CAN prove that something suspicious is going on if they want to, just not what it is, duh, and they can do so because it’s their free speech under the first amendment, which Drumpf, apparently, still has trouble understanding, IF he understands it at all. Oh, and while the media may have a “liberal” bias (yeah, right), they’re at least better than the screeching toadies at Fake (formerly Fox) News, even going so far as to invite conservative media pundits that oppose Drumpf on their shows (Evan McMullin, Mindy Finn, George Will, Max Boot, Bill Kristol, Bret Stephens, David Frum, Jennifer Rubin, Michael Gerson, Rick Wilson, Charles Krauthammer, Stephen Hayes, Rich Lowry, Jonah Goldberg, Kevin Williamson, Ross Douthat, David Brooks, Louise Bagshawe-Mensch, Ralph Peters, and Charlie Sykes come to mind), you know? No wonder Corker and Flake don’t want to seek reelection as senators, with Flake, rumor has it, seriously considering a presidential run in 2020.
Martin Luther King lionized Jackie Robertson for his stand against racism. Living up to our aspirational values is often hard. That’s why they are aspirations. Police misconduct towards black citizens is longstanding. Videophones brought truth to whites who otherwise never would be able to understand. If you like black athletes and their athleticism, then accept the fact they feel obligated to stand up and be counted. They are using their celebrity as a weapon against injustice. Nothing wrong about that. Especially when, as black men, they’ve had a police target on their back since they were about 8 or 9 years old, when police began to feel threatened by their very existence. Of course, if you’d rather look the other way, that’s your option. Don’t watch the sport.
@SillySeason, it’s pretty easy, most of the time: 90% of celebrities are in the bottom 10% for intelligence.
If you ever read an interview with a smart model, (s)he’ll always say the worst part of the business is that there’s no-one to have a decent conversation with. Likewise actors and politicians. (It’s not a recent thing: said Mark Twain: “suppose you were an idiot, and suppose you were a member of Congress; but I repeat myself.”)
And the funny thing is that, Hedy, Mayim and Danica notwithstanding, smart actors often end up playing stupid characters (see: Arnold, Vin, Sly). OTOH, maybe it’s just the guys who realize they can make more money punching people.
Meanwhile back to the comic strip, the three reporters metaphorically are three blind mice, so being in the dark is no big deal. Uh oh, they have “Left” the bldg.
Not sure how deserting the party helps promote a more rational agenda. IMO these guys are hitting the road since they’re on the verge of being voted out.
I love when the liberal dweebs rant and rave about their fellow idiots act like fools. Hillary is going to jail……fra…laa…laa……la la la. ……maybe even obummer along with her.
It’s hard to satirize what’s already a parody: Spicer frequently had no-cameras-allowed press conferences, precisely because of his (and, more importantly, the administration’s) cowardice. Today’s strip probably would’ve been funnier if Larry, instead of kicking the reporters, had eaten a couple, since all these years later he still can’t catch Zebra.
Oh, and about Corker and Flake, here’s a quote from conservative pundit Jonah Goldberg:
Trump has no more political or democratic legitimacy than senators do, as members of a coequal branch. Flake and Corker — flawed as they may be — have simply been responding to the drama machine in the Oval Office. That is where all the drama is coming from. The fact that Trump won’t and can’t change doesn’t absolve him of responsibility for the slow transformation of the GOP into a burning river of sewage. The fact that it’s easy to criticize the downstream victims of that fecal inferno for their response to it and hard to criticize the source of it doesn’t make that criticism right — or rightly aimed.
Dear GO Comics and Stephen Pastis; I have enjoyed your service and comics for years, but find the comments to be too political and offensive to associate with my comedy. So in the spirit of the left wing commentary, I will now be boycotting your service and your advertisers. Good bye!
Thanks, Page Jaws, for reminding everyone how willful ignorance works. Can’t stand the heat, huh? Maybe you have a difficult time with making coherent counter arguments. Perfectly understandable. Bye.

Otherwise, you wouldn’t notice…
